About Jereme

Hi, I’m Jereme Wilroy — a husband, father of five, researcher, and follower of Jesus. I’m also a wheelchair user living with a spinal cord injury, and someone who’s learning (sometimes the hard way) how to live with purpose, lead with courage, and grow through life’s challenges.

This blog was born from my journey — the highs, the lows, and everything in between. After sustaining a T5 spinal cord injury as a teenager, my life took a turn I never saw coming. But through it all, I’ve discovered that God doesn’t waste suffering. In fact, the trials we face often become the training ground for the good works He prepared for us (Ephesians 2:10).

Professionally, I’m a health promotion researcher focused on improving quality of life and access to fitness for people with disabilities. Personally, I’m passionate about helping others build resilience, steward their health, lead their families well, and walk in the fullness of who God created them to be.

Here, I write about faith, family, and health — how they intertwine, how they’re tested, and how they can flourish even in hard seasons. My hope is that this space encourages you to live intentionally, grow in wisdom, and remember that your life matters — not because of what you do, but because of who made you.

You were made for good works. Let’s grow into them — together.
